MISSION

SCAAFF Project Off the Street – (POTS) is an edutainment non-profit organization that is focused solely on empowering the next generation of digital storytellers through various skill and talent hunt avenues. We will be providing grants, educational resources, and fellowships. SCAAFF provides youths both skilled and unskilled from under-served communities with the technical training, media literacy skills, and digital tools to leverage on the creative process as a means for interpreting their roles in the society.

WHAT WE DO

Empower Youth

SCAAFF provides youth from underserved communities with the technical training, media literacy skills, and digital tools to interpret their role in their society.

Provide Funding

SCAAFF provides funding and support to a variety of youth media and independent film projects via various filmmaking grants and film competitions.

Connect Cultures

SCAAFF works in classrooms around the world to harness the filmmaking and media production process as a vehicle for cultural exchange.

Support Educators

SCAAFF delivers a variety of professional development and training opportunities to enable educators around the world to integrate digital storytelling into their classrooms.

Develop Resources

SCAAFF develops a variety of classroom resources including lesson plans, curriculum guides, visual aids, and conceptual videos designed to promote media education.

Partner With Schools

SCAAFF partners with a diverse range of non-profit organizations, schools, community organizations, educational foundations, and development organizations.

Valerie Elizabeth Cruzat

Board of Directors

Traveled and worked in many locations around the world as CEO, Special Advisor, Event Manager, Producer, Life Coach, Education and Business Development Consultant. Through her company the MVMI Group, which includes the Ancestors Dream and Future Leaders Inspired founded in 1995. Valerie has worked extensively in the US, UK and Nigeria. She has managed and facilitated youth programs in the area of Arts, Culture and Technology.

ForinClay Ejeh

Founder/Board of Directors

As a strong advocate for Youth and the girl child right to education, ForinClay is using filmmaking as a tool to create more awareness and opportunities for the younger generation. He leads the SCAAFF team with his 11 yyears high end corporate experience in all areas of production and humanitarian services. Looking forward to making significant contributions in the rural and urban communities through youth Empowerment Programs.
